Adventure Takes Flight with PCH!
New in the 2010-11 ski season Pacific Crest Snowcats is launching Pacific Crest Heli-Guides to access over 100,000 acres of remote ski terrain along the sierra crest. This new operation has been founded by the head guide of Alaska's original helicopter skiing operation and the founder of Pacific Crest Snowcats to ensure you an exciting day of untracked runs while safely traveling in the backcountry.
Located minutes from the world famous ski resorts of the North Tahoe region, we will be flying from the Truckee airport daily with weather day backup provided by Pacific Crest Snowcats. Groups of four are required to fly, so if your group is larger or smaller than four, please book early so that we have the ability to form your group.
Your full day heli ski trip includes your safety gear, your guide and your fresh and delicious lunch. The base rate is based on 1.2 hours of heli flight time split between your group. This is enough flight time to enjoy a full day of efficiently used flight time, but there are large runs that are further from our base which may take more flight time to utilize. Be sure to speak with your guide regarding your desires so that together we can make the most of your day. Additional runs are always available. Full day rate is 899.00 per person, deposit to book is fifty percent, and the remainder is not due until the day we ski together.
Those who book early in this season will be rewarded with first descents on several runs as most of our terrain has never been skied or boarded. Come and be a pioneer of heli skiing at Tahoe by booking your day early this season! We open on December 15th, come at that time and we will be naming the runs together!
